Kotwali Station’s Inspector Salauddin withdrawn in disgrace

The inspector (investigation) of Kotwali Model Police Station has been recalled to district police lines.

Md Anwarul Haque, officer-in-charge of the police station, confirmed to UNB on Wednesday that Inspector Salauddin was recalled on Tuesday afternoon after three cases were filed against him with courts in Cumilla and Brahmanbaria.

On November 28, Salauddin's first wife filed a case against him with the Cumilla Judicial Magistrate Court under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act bringing allegations of torture, dowry and addiction to extramarital affairs.
