Kashimpur prison guard arrested with yaba
A prison guard named Pintu Mia has been arrested while attempting to enter the Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur with 328 pieces of Yaba pills.
He was arrested from the main gate (RP gate) of the jail on Thursday night.
The arrestee hails from Gharail area of Dhamrai police station in Dhaka. He was on duty as a prison guard in Kashimpur Central Jail-1.

Kashimpur Central Jail-1 Jailer Ritesh Chakma said jail guards of RP Gate searched Pintu while entering and 328 Yaba tablets were seized from him.
"Later, he was handed over to the Konabari police station of Gazipur metropolitan along with the recovered drugs," he added.
Konabari Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Abu Siddique said the jail authorities had informed the police station after Pintu Mia was held with Yaba.
Pintu Mia was later arrested and a case has been filed under the Narcotics Act in this regard.
