Jamaat Ameer offers prayers for Milestone crash victims, calls for 'righteous leadership' during crisis
Referring to information from doctors, he mentioned that at least 30 people remain in critical condition.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman has expressed deep sorrow over yesterday's fighter jet crashing into the Milestone school campus premises.
Speaking at a street rally organised by the Dakope upazila unit of Jamaat-e-Islami in Khulna, Shafiqur said, "May Allah heal those who are undergoing treatment in hospitals. May He return them to the embrace of their loved ones."
Referring to information from doctors, he mentioned that at least 30 people remain in critical condition.
During his speech, Shafiqur also touched upon his own health, recalling incidents during the recent national rally where he collapsed mid-speech.
"I almost left this world that day," he said, adding that he wishes to continue struggling in the path of "deen" until his last breath and hopes to die a martyr.
Criticising past regimes, the Jamaat ameer said, "I have seen many forms of governance, but these were not true rule, they were exploitation. What we now seek is honest leadership and governance according to the Qur'an."
Earlier in the day, around 10am, he landed at the BM Gas Company helipad in Chalna of Dakope upazila.
He then visited the home of late Dakope Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abu Sayeed and met with his family.
