July Charter implementation process will be known in 2-3 days: Asif Nazrul
"By coordinating the expectations of all parties, we are going to do whatever is necessary in the interest of the country and the people," he said
Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Asif Nazrul said today (11 November) the implementation process of the July Charter will be clarified within the next two to three days.
"We expected political parties to discuss among themselves and provide a unified directive, but we did not wait idly for that. We have been working independently, and within the next few days, it will be clear what steps we have taken regarding the charter's implementation," he said at the Judicial Administration Training Institute in Dhaka following a meeting on the Legal Aid Services (Amendment) Ordinance 2025.
The adviser added, "We are reviewing this at various levels of the Advisory Council. By coordinating the expectations of all parties, we aim to take the necessary measures in the best interest of the country and its people."
The meeting was attended by Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman, Law and Justice Division Secretary Liaquat Ali Mollah, former district judge Motahar Hossain, BLAST Executive Director Barrister Sara Hossain, and Special Consultant to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Tanim Hussain Shawon.
