Dengue: Two more die; 762 hospitalised
The latest deaths were recorded in Dhaka South City Corporation and Khulna Division.

Two more dengue deaths were reported in the 24 hours till this morning (22 October), raising the total number of fatalities from the mosquito‑borne disease in Bangladesh this year to 255.
In the same period, 762 patients were admitted to hospital with viral fever, bringing the total number of cases to 62,367, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest deaths were recorded in Dhaka South City Corporation and Khulna Division.
At present, 2,620 patients are receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
Last year, dengue claimed 575 lives.
During the same period, the DGHS logged 101,214 dengue cases and 100,040 recoveries.
