Dengue: 3 more deaths, 907 hospitalised in 24 hours
The latest fatalities were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation and Dhaka division, while 894 patients were discharged after recovery.
Three more people died of dengue and 907 new patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours until 8:00am today (25 August).
With the latest fatalities, the dengue death toll has risen to 88 in the country this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The new deaths were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation and Dhaka division.
During the reporting period, 894 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Since 1 January this year, a total of 30,830 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country.
Of them, 28,652 have been discharged, while 2,090 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
