BRAC Healthcare opens fourth centre in Dhaka to expand affordable, patient-centric services

BRAC Healthcare Limited, a concern of BRAC Enterprises, has inaugurated its fourth healthcare centre in capital's Gulshan-Badda Link Road today (30 October), marking another milestone in its effort to make quality healthcare more accessible and compassionate.

The organisation currently operates three other centres in Mirpur, Uttara, and Siddheshwari. With a focus on creating a welcoming and empathetic atmosphere, it aims to deliver healthcare that mirrors the care and comfort of a close family member, said a press release today. 

The new centre underscores BRAC Healthcare's commitment to providing top-tier, patient-centric healthcare services at affordable costs while adhering to the highest ethical standards. 

Staffed by a team of highly qualified medical professionals, the centre will cater to evolving healthcare needs through six key service pillars — family physician and first aid care, specialist doctor consultations, health and wellness (physiotherapy, mental health, and nutrition), dental care, diagnostics, and a model pharmacy.

In addition, clients can access telemedicine services, home sample collection, and home medicine delivery at affordable rates.

During the inauguration, its Managing Director, Tamara Hasan Abed said, "Since opening our first centre in Mirpur in March 2023, followed by Uttara and Siddheshwari, we have achieved a total footfall of over 268,000, including 82,000 doctor consultations — all with a 90% positive feedback rate. 

"To us, these are not just numbers; they represent real stories, real families, and real lives improved through high-quality, empathetic healthcare," she added.

Complementing its in-person services, BRAC Healthcare's mobile app, launched last year and available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, further strengthens its service delivery. The app allows patients to book appointments, track medical history, and access a wide range of healthcare services seamlessly from their smartphones.
