Four MBBS and one BDS doctors who passed from different public and private medical colleges have been providing the telemedicine service 24/7

Borhanuddin Chhatra Kalyan Foundation (BCKF), a social welfare organisation, has provided treatment through telemedicine service to 200 people in 10 days in Bhola district. 

The telemedicine service began on May 16. 

Four MBBS and one BDS doctors who passed from different public and private medical colleges have been providing the telemedicine service 24/7.

The people of Bhola are also happy to get the medicare through online. 

Bishwajit Kumar, a resident of Tabgi union of Borhanuddin upazila, told The Business Standard that he received telemedicine service from the BCKF doctors.

 "I was suffering from fever and called the doctors. They gave me some medicine and now I am well," he said.

"The doctors were very cordial. I am satisfied with their service," he added.

Dr Miraz Hossain Pavel, MBBS, said, "We are the members of BCKF. We have been providing service from our sense of responsibility. We are also happy to provide the service in these crucial days."

Other four doctors are Dr Rashedul Islam Soito, MBBS, Dr Ikbal Hossain Sumon, MBBS, Dr Nazrul Islam, BDS and Dr Erfan Mahmud, MBBS.

Bashir Gazi, Borhanuddin Upazila Nibahi Officer, told The Business Standard, "The BCKF is a popular social organisation in Bhola as it distributed relief among the poor people a month ago. Now they are providing telemedicine service. The people are benefited from their activities."
