N'ganj mosque blast victims

Health Minister Zahid Maleque visited the victims of Narayanganj mosque blast at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Sunday afternoon.

"We have talked with the doctors about all the victims. We are trying our best to heal everyone, but among the remaining 13 injured, 5/6 are in critical condition," the minister said in a briefing after the visit.

"A case has been filed under death due to negligence over the incident," he added.

At least 40 people were injured as leaked gas caused an explosion, which consequently exploded six air conditioners inside the mosque during Isha prayer on Friday night. Later 24 of them died in hospital.
