The High Court has issued a stay order on setting up a temporary cattle market on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha in Dhaka's Aftabnagar.

The bench of Justice Kazi Zinat Hoque and Justice Aynun Nahar Siddiqua issued the order today (4 May) after hearing a writ petition filed by Advocate Md Yunus Ali Akand.

Akand filed the petition on April 25, challenging the lease notice for setting up a sacrificial animal market in the residential area of Aftabnagar.
