He made the remark while speaking in a press briefing at the Secretariat.

Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain today (13 October) said a decision on extending the Hajj registration deadline will be made after a meeting with Saudi authorities on Tuesday (14 October).
Speaking at a press briefing at the Secretariat, Khalid said the Saudi side may ask about the number of registered pilgrims and issued vouchers, reports UNB.
"Based on that, we are hopeful the deadline might be extended, subject to their approval. We will request them to allow more time," he added.
