Gas leakages trigger fire in capital’s Adabar

A fire broke out near the Baitul Aman Housing Society road in the capital's Adabor area due to four leakages in a gas pipeline.
The incident took place at 3:45pm on Friday and a unit of fire service doused the blaze at around 4:20pm, Monir Hossain, duty officer at Mohammadpur Fire Service and Civil Defence Station told The Business Standard.
Earlier this month, a gas leakage triggered an explosion in a Narayanganj mosque in Fatullah area that claimed 31 lives.
