Fire at Liberation War Museum brought under control in 30 mins
The cause of the fire was an electrical malfunction

A fire broke out at the generator room of the Liberation War Museum in the capital's Agargaon at around 9am this morning (10 March).
However, the flames were brought under control at around 9:36am and fully extinguished by 9:46am, said Shahidul Suman, station officer of Fire Service and Civil Defense.
He said two units from Mohammadpur fire station rushed to the spot at 9:20am and swiftly brought the blaze under control.
Talha Bin Zasim, station officer (media cell) of the Fire Service, said the estimated damage from the fire is approximately Tk5 lakh, while property worth around Tk50 lakh was saved.
He said the cause of the fire was an electrical malfunction.
