Fire guts six jhut warehouses in Gazipur's Konabari
Six units of the Fire Service are working to control the blaze

A massive fire broke out in a jhut warehouse in the Ambagh area of Konabari, Gazipur city, tonight (25 September), before quickly spreading to five other nearby warehouses.
The blaze started around 8:15pm behind Nader Ali High School, according to the Fire Service and local sources.
Deputy Assistant Director of Gazipur Fire Service Mohammad Mamun confirmed the incident and said six units of the Fire Service were working to control the blaze.
He added that the cause of the fire and the extent of losses could not be determined immediately, though no casualties were reported.
Locals said the flames spread close to Nader Ali High School, raising fears that the building could be damaged.
GMP Konabari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Salah Uddin said the fire had spread widely but efforts were underway to bring it under control.
