He will now move to his private residence in Gulshan.
Shahabuddin resigned from office on 24 July, citing serious health complications that had left him physically and mentally unable to discharge the responsibilities of the country's highest constitutional post.

He submitted his resignation letter to Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, bringing an early end to his five-year term, which was due to expire in April 2028.
Following his resignation, Speaker of Parliament Hafiz Uddin Ahmad assumed the role of acting president in accordance with the Constitution, while Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal took over as acting speaker.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman said on 25 July that the new president will be elected at the regular parliamentary session scheduled for September.
