Kalboishakhi likely in Dhaka, 4 other divisions

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by a temporary Westerly or North Westerly Kalboishakhi storm in five divisions including Dhaka in next 12 hours commencing 08:00am today (9 April).
"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary Westerly or North Westerly Kalboishakhi storm with squalls speed 60-80 kph, or more is likely to occur at places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during the next 12 hours," said a Met office bulletin.
At this time, there may be lightning and hail at isolated places along with the Kalboishakhi storm, it said.
According to the regular Met office bulletin, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes are likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi division with hails at isolated places.
Day temperature may fall by 1-2°C, and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
A trough of low pressure lies over West Bengal and the adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
