Another vessel named Lobito, carrying 69,015 tonnes of LNG from the African nation of Angola, is scheduled to reach Maheshkhali on 18 April
A vessel carrying 64,678 tonnes of LNG has anchored at the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Maheshkhali.
The Greece-flagged vessel Maran Gas Hydra set out from Australia and arrived in Bangladesh yesterday afternoon (15 April), confirmed Nurul Alam, deputy general manager of Uniglobal, the vessel's local shipping agent.
He stated that the process of unloading the cargo is scheduled to commence today.
Furthermore, Alam indicated that another vessel named Lobito, carrying 69,015 tonnes of LNG from the African nation of Angola, is scheduled to reach Maheshkhali this Saturday (18 April).
The arrival of these shipments follows a busy week at the Maheshkhali terminal, which had already received two separate vessels earlier this week, each carrying 69,000 tonnes of LNG imported from the United States.
