No load-shedding in last 2 days: Power division
The electricity demand stood at 10,612 megawatts and was also met in full.
There was no power shortfall in the country on Tuesday and yesterday (28 April and 29 April ), according to the Power Division.
In a message issued today (30 April), the Power Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources said the country's electricity demand on Tuesday (28 April) was 12,183 megawatts, which was fully met through equal power generation.
Yesterday (29 April), the electricity demand stood at 10,612 megawatts and was also met in full.
As a result, no load-shedding occurred across the country during the last two consecutive days, the message added.
