Govt slashes June prices for diesel, petrol, octane
June prices for per liter diesel at Tk102, petrol at Tk118, octane at Tk122
The government has cut fuel prices per liter for diesel at Tk102, petrol at Tk118 and octane at Tk122 for June.
The adjustments were made in line with fluctuations in global fuel prices and in accordance with the revised pricing formula aimed at setting monthly consumer-level fuel prices through an automated system.
Aiming to ensure the supply of fuel at comparatively affordable rates for the month, the price of diesel has been reduced by Tk2 per liter — from Tk104.

The price of octane has been reduced by Tk3 per liter — from Tk125.
Petrol prices have been reduced by Tk3 per liter — from Tk121.
The government has also revised the pricing method for kerosene, causing its price to rise to Tk 114 per litre from Tk 102.
These new prices will come into effect tomorrow, according to a gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
