Fuel prices to remain unchanged in July

The government has kept the fuel prices unchanged at the consumer level for the month of July, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources said in a notification today (29 June).
According to the notification, prices of fuel will be same as June at Tk102 per litre for diesel, Tk114 for kerosene, Tk122 for octane, and Tk118 for petrol.
The new rates will come into effect from 1 July.
The decision to keep fuel prices unchanged comes in the wake of a decline in global oil prices following a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, the ministry said.
