12kg LPG cylinder price up Tk38 for Dec
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) today (2 December) increased the retail price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to a 12kg cylinder to Tk1,253, up by Tk38 from November's price of Tk 1,215.
At the same time, the price of autogas, LPG used as fuel in vehicles, has been revised upward from Tk55.58 per litre to Tk57.32 per litre.
The BERC announced the new prices on Tuesday (2 December), stating that the revised rates will come into effect from this evening.

In November, the regulatory body had reduced LPG prices, cutting the 12kg cylinder price by Tk26 to Tk1,215.
Autogas prices were also lowered last month by Tk1.19, settling at Tk55.58 per litre at the consumer level.
BERC officials said the price revisions reflect fluctuations in the international LPG market and adjustments in the Saudi CP (Contract Price), the benchmark used for LPG price calculations in Bangladesh.
