Ekushey Book Fair to remain open 5-hr daily during lockdown

The daily schedule of Ekushey Book Fair-2021 has been changed again in line with the upcoming 7-day lockdown, imposed due to the worsening situation of Covid-19 in the country.
Now, the book fair will remain open from 12 pm to 5 pm, instead of the previous schedule 3pm to 6:30pm, until further notice, said a notice of Cultural Affairs ministry.
The ministry also urged the public to follow health rules and not to engage in any unhygienic practices.

The fair, which is usually held in February, started on 18 March this year due to Covid-19 pandemic and will continue till 14 April.
