Results of qualifying exams for ayurvedic, unani diploma courses announced
The overall pass rate for the DAMS course stood at 94.05%

The results of the annual qualifying examination 2024 for the Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (DAMS) and Diploma in Unani Medicine and Surgery (DUMS) were officially declared today (18 March).
The exams, held under the Bangladesh Board of Unani and Ayurvedic Systems of Medicine under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, took place from 22 December 2024, said a press release.
In the final year of the DAMS course, Sumaiya Khanam from Nur Majid Ayurvedic College and Meherunnesa Mashi from TMSS Feroza Begum Ayurvedic-Unani Medical College and Hospital secured the joint first position.
Meanwhile, Sawda Takiya from Nur Majid Ayurvedic College and Sidratul Muntaha from Feroza Begum Ayurvedic-Unani Medical College and Hospital claimed the third position.
The overall pass rate for the DAMS course stood at 94.05%.
For the DUMS course, Md Sajib Hossain Shipu from Hakim Said Eastern Medical College and Hospital secured the first position, followed by Sadika Akter from Tibbiya Habibiya College Hospital in second place** and Mahbubur Rahman from Rawshan
Jahan Eastern Medical College and Hospital in third place.
The pass rate for the DUMS course was 86.08%.
The successful candidates are now eligible to proceed with their professional practices under the Bangladesh Board of Unani and Ayurvedic Systems of Medicine.
