Nearly 93% fail DU science unit admission test
According to the online admission office, a total of 1,02,093 candidates sat for exams for 1,891 seats in the arts, law, and social science units this year.
The results of Dhaka University's undergraduate admission test for the science unit for 2025-26 academic year were published today (26 January).
The pass rate stood at just 7.46%, meaning nearly 93% of candidates failed the exam, Professor Dr Md Shariful Islam, convener of DU's online admission committee, confirmed to The Business Standard. Results can be accessed at admission.eis.du.ac.bd.

How to check results
Candidates can check their results at admission.eis.du.ac.bd using their higher secondary roll number, board name, passing year, and secondary school roll number. Alternatively, results can be accessed via SMS by sending DU SCI <roll no> from a Grameenphone, Banglalink, or Teletalk number to 16321. For example: DU SCI 1234567.
