Jucsu polls: No exams at Jahangirnagar University from 9 to 11 Sept
Weekend and evening programme classes and exams will also remain suspended on 12-13 September

Jahangirnagar University (JU) will suspend all examinations from 9-11 September in observance of the upcoming Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (Jucsu) and hall union elections.
The university's registrar ABM Azizur Rahman confirmed the decision in a notice signed last night (2 September).
According to the notice, all pre-scheduled practical and final examinations for all departments and institutes will be suspended on 9 September, though classes will continue as usual.
However, classes and exams will both be suspended on 10 and 11 September.
Weekend and evening programme classes and exams will also be suspended on September 12 and 13.
The notice also instructed relevant examination committees not to publish any new final exam routines from that date until the election day.
Jucsu and hall union elections are scheduled to be held on 11 September, marking the first time in 33 years that the university will hold student union polls.
