12.77 lakh students selected for college admission in first phase
A total of 12.77 lakh admission seekers have been selected for class XI under 2020-21 academic session in the first phase.
The Education Ministry published the results on Tuesday night, which are available on the college admission website - http://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
The results were also sent to the students through SMS.

"We asked the students to inform us if they face any difficulties in getting results," Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Ziaul Haque told The Business Standard.
As many as 13.42 lakh aspirants applied for the admission in the first phase. Of them, 65,000 admission seekers missed out even after filling out the forms correctly, because they could not be on the merit lists of the colleges they had chosen.
The applications will be started from August 31 and end September 2 for the second phase. The third phase will be started from September 7 and will continue for two days.
