Editors' Council mourns death of journo Alamgir Mohiuddin
The Editors' Council has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of one of its founding members, Alamgir Mohiuddin.
Mohiuddin, senior journalist and founding editor of the Daily Naya Diganta, passed away at the age of 83 at a hospital in the capital on Saturday (23 August).
In a condolence statement, the council expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.

"We pray to Almighty Allah to grant him Jannatul Ferdous and give the bereaved family the strength to bear this irreparable loss," it said.
