Ducsu election: 13 aspirants collect nomination forms on 2nd day
With this, the number of aspirants who have collected nomination forms over the first two days stands at 20.

A total of 13 aspirants collected nomination forms on the second day of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) election process, including three for the post of vice-president (VP) and 10 for other positions.
With this, the number of aspirants who have collected nomination forms over the first two days stands at 20, according to Ducsu Chief Election Commissioner Professor Mohammad Jasim Uddin.
"Today, 13 more collected forms, with three vying for VP. So far, four have submitted their nomination papers. Additionally, for hall union elections, 18 nomination forms have been collected from 18 halls over the past two days," he said while speaking at a press briefing held this afternoon (12 August) in Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban.
He added that seven individuals, including two for the VP post, had collected nomination forms yesterday (12 August).
The Ducsu chief election commissioner further said that objections raised by student organisations regarding the posts of Ducsu president and treasurer have been resolved in accordance with the constitution, leaving no scope for intervention by the commission.
He also noted that no allegations of code of conduct violations have been reported against any aspirant so far.
