Dry weather with fog, slight temperature changes predicted
Night temperatures may rise slightly, while day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast generally dry weather with partly cloudy skies across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours from 9:00am.
According to the bulletin, moderate to thick fog may form in different regions from midnight to morning and may persist until noon in some areas. The dense fog could temporarily disrupt air navigation, inland river transport and road communication.
A mild cold wave is currently sweeping over Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Panchagarh, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts, which may ease in some places, the bulletin said.
Night temperatures may rise slightly, while day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
Yesterday, the highest temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius in Teknaf, while the lowest temperature of 8.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jashore today.
In Dhaka, sunset will be at 5:23pm today and sunrise at 6:42am tomorrow.
