The government conducted a trial run for a drone show in the capital's Manik Mia Avenue today (12 April), ahead of the Pahela Baishakh celebrations on 14 April.

Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki shared today's photos in a post on his verified Facebook page at 10:18pm.

"Images from the dry run of drone show today! It's just a glimpse of the entire show. Come join for a great show of Drone Images and live music. 14th April, 3pm, Manik Mia Ave," Farooki wrote in the post.

"The drone show is a gift from Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bangladesh!" he added.
