DNCC evicts 200 illegal installations from Gabtoli
The eviction freed about 30,000 square feet land

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) evicted about 200 illegal installations from the Gabtoli bus terminal area in the capital on Sunday.
DNCC Executive Magistrate Sajid Anwar led the eviction drive of the illegal installations that included tin shed business centers, makeshift shops, sheds and semi pukka houses.
The eviction freed about 30,000 square feet land.
Earlier, on August 28, DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam and local MP Aslamul Haque visited Gabtoli bus terminal area. They found that grabbers had illegally constructed sheds and shops in and around the bus terminal.
The mayor ordered the eviction drive after local people urged him to do so to free the land for pedestrians.
