DMP issues traffic guidelines for 21 February

Special traffic measures will be taken around the Central Shaheed Minar area

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued traffic guidelines for the safe and unhindered observance of the historic International Mother Language Day and Martyrs' Day on 21 February.

Special traffic measures will be taken around the Central Shaheed Minar area, according to a press release issued today (19 February) signed by Deputy Commissioner of Police (media and public relations) of DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

The DMP instructed people to enter the Shaheed Minar through Palashi Crossing, Bhaskarya Crossing and Jagannath Hall Crossing.

After paying homage, they will exit the Shaheed Minar premises through Ramna Crossing-Doel Chattar.

There will be diversions at Shahbagh Crossing, Nilkhet Crossing, Shahidullah Hall Crossing, Chankharpul Crossing, Palashi Crossing and Bakshibazar Crossing.
