Golam Porwar calls for building ideological workforce to fight injustice, oppression
The Jamaat leader urges Rukons to strengthen their knowledge, morality and organisational skills through regular study, training and self-criticism.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar today (2 October) called for building an ideological workforce to make the struggle against injustice, falsehood and oppression successful.
He urged Jamaat's Rukons to enrich themselves through regular study, training, self-criticism and organisational activities while playing a responsible role in promoting justice, fairness, honesty and human values at every level of society.
Porwar made the remarks while addressing a training camp for selected Rukons from the Jamaat's Cumilla-Noakhali region at a convention hall in Cumilla city this afternoon.
He said party members should be developed into skilled, honest, knowledgeable, capable and ideological workers.
"No force of evil will be able to defeat a workforce strengthened by faith," he said.
Porwar said the Jamaat's workforce should not be limited to organisational activities.
"They should develop knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah, piety, good conduct, morality and organisational skills," he added.
The training camp was chaired by Maulana A T M Masum, director of the Cumilla-Noakhali region, and conducted by Kazi Deen Mohammad, ameer of Cumilla city Jamaat.
Jamaat Assistant Secretary General Maulana AHM Abdul Halim, Central Majlish-e-Shura member Prof Shafiqul Alam Helal and Muhaddis Abu Nasr Ashrafi also spoke at the event.
Selected Rukons from the Cumilla-Noakhali region attended the training camp.
