Dhaka North announces 5% tax rebate for gardens on roof, yard
Residents of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) will receive a 5% tax rebate if they have gardens on their rooftops or in their yards.
Announcing the rebate today (30 April), DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz, during the 6th Corporation Meeting, said a tax fair will be organised from 11 May, where citizens can pay taxes more easily and enjoy additional rebate opportunities.
During the meeting, the names of four establishments named by the previous Awami League government were changed.

Shaheed Zayan Chowdhury Playground in Banani has been renamed to Banani Chairman Bari Field, Bir Muktijoddha Asaduzzaman Khan Complex in Madhubag renamed to Madhubag Community Center and Harun Mollah Flyover in Kalshi renamed to Kalshi Flyover.
