'Dhaka Hut' to be set up in Diabari for SMEs: Dhaka North administrator
Dhaka North City Corporation and SME Foundation will set up a 'Dhaka Hut' in the Diyabari area of the capital's Uttara for small and medium enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs, Dhaka North Administrator Mohammad Ejaz said today (21 April).
He made the announcement after a meeting with SME Foundation Chairperson Md Musfiqur Rahman at the DNCC Nagar Bhaban in Gulshan.
The two organisations also agreed on launching temporary holiday markets in Agargaon and other areas of Dhaka under joint collaboration. They also plan to operate business incubation centres to foster new entrepreneurs.

"Illegal businesses occupying roads and footpaths will not be tolerated. We will issue trade licenses and provide cooperation for legitimate businesses. Our goal is to create opportunities for entrepreneurs," Ejaz said.
