Between the afternoon and late night, miscreants detonated four crude bombs in separate incidents in Mirpur, Mouchak and Shantinagar.
According to police, around 4:30pm, assailants hurled a cocktail from the rooftop of the Muktijoddha Shopping Complex in Mirpur-1 onto the footpath below before fleeing the scene. The explosion injured a footpath shopkeeper standing in front of the market.

Around the same time, at approximately 8:15pm, miscreants set off a cocktail near the western signal of Shantinagar. The device struck an advertising billboard on a banyan tree near the signal before exploding. No casualties were reported in either incidents.
