Crude bomb explosion at Shahbagh

A crude bomb (cocktail) explosion occurred at Chhobir Haat near Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital's Shahbagh this morning (17 November).
No casualties have been reported in the incident, confirmed Shahbagh Police Station Sub-Inspector Rajib Chowdhury.
"We received information about a cocktail explosion at Chhobir Haat inside Suhrawardy Udyan around 9:55am. A police team has been dispatched and is currently working at the scene," he said.

According to local sources, unidentified miscreants detonated the explosive and fled the area immediately afterward.
