Three stabbed in broad daylight in Chattogram

Three employees of a transport company sustained stab injuries during a clash in the Cinema Palace area under the Kotwali Police Station in Chattogram this afternoon (4 March).
The incident took place around 3pm in front of Mohsen Auliya Transport on KC Dey Road, Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Karim confirmed to The Business Standard.
The victims have been identified as Azad, Sagar, and Saiful, all employees of the transport company, he said.
They were rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.
"We received reports of a clash in the Cinema Palace area, during which three people were stabbed. A mobile police team has been dispatched to the scene. From what we have learned so far, the dispute was related to a courier business and longstanding enmity between the parties involved," said OC Karim.
"No arrests have been made yet, but we will take action if the victims' families file a complaint," he added.
