Police detain plant-destroying woman
She was detained at about 11am from her house
Savar police have detained a woman today who chopped off all of her neighbour's fruiting and flowering plants, attributing to a personal vendetta.
The plant-destroying woman - Khaleda Akhter Lucky, 39, was detained at about 11am today from her house in Savar's CRP Dagormora area.
A video of the incident that took place on Tuesday was recorded and posted on Facebook by the owner of the plants, Sumaiya Habib. It quickly caught people's attention and spread across the social media platform like wildfire.

The post, along with the video, comes with a long caption in which Sumaiya expresses her distraught thoughts and raises the question how one can claim that plants ruin the environment.
In the post, she also stated that the plant-destroying woman's son backed up his mother's actions by bringing some 10-12 local hooligans to the roof.
