Hadi shooting: Suspect Faisal visited sister's house on day of attack; magazines and ammo recovered, says RAB

Faisal Karim Masud, the prime suspect in the gun attack on Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, went to his sister's residence on the morning of the shooting and returned there again after the incident, according to the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
Confirming the matter last night (16 December), RAB-2 Senior Assistant Director (Media) Md Shamsul Islam told the media, "Faisal, also known as Daud Khan, visited the house of his elder sister, Jesmin, located in West Agargaon's Colonel Road area near a water tank, on the morning of the attack.
"He later left the area on a motorcycle with another prime suspect Md Alamgir Sheikh."
The officer further informed that after the shooting, Faisal, along with his mother, nephew and Alamgir, was seen around 4:05pm retrieving something from an open space between two buildings adjacent to the same residence.
"About 15 minutes later, Faisal and Alamgir left the area in a CNG. On Monday night (15 December), we recovered two magazines loaded with 11 rounds of ammunition and a knife from the open space between the two buildings near the house. However, no arrests were made in connection with the recovery," he added.
He also said that a search of Jesmin's residence led to the seizure of one tablet, one Android phone, one old button phone, two national identity cards, five cheques from a defunct company, 15 cheque books from various banks, six passports and 38 cheque papers from different banks.
"Efforts are ongoing at the highest level to arrest the other accused individuals."
So far, eight people have been arrested, including Faisal's father; Md Kabir, associate of the suspect; Mohammad Abdul Hannan, the owner of the motorcycle allegedly used in the shooting; as well as the wife, brother-in-law and a female friend of the prime suspect.
Two others – Sibion Dio and Sanjay Chisim – were also arrested for allegedly facilitating the suspect's illegal cross-border movement.
