Middle-East-based militant organisation Islamic State (IS) has claimed the responsibility for Wednesday's bomb explosion in the capital's Pallabi police station, said terrorism watchdog SITE Intelligence Group.

Five including an officer-in-charge were injured in the blast at 7am on Wednesday.
