4 leaders and activists of AL, its associate organisations held in Dhaka
All of them were wanted in different cases filed with Jatrabari and Kadamtoli police stations

Detectives in a drive arrested four leaders and activists of Awami League and its associate organisations from different parts of the capital yesterday and today (5 May).
The arrestees were identified as Safur Uddin, 50, a leader of No 53 ward of Dhaka North unit Jubo league, Tajuddin Ahmed, 52, presidium member of Jubo League, Nasir Hossain, 69, commerce affairs adviser of Dhaka South unit Awami League and Shaheed Mahmud Hemi, 42, former joint general secretary of Dhaka South unit Chhatra League.
Police arrested Safur Uddin from Turag area around 9 pm on Sunday while Tajuddin from Banasree area around 11pm, said deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Talebur Rahman.
Besides, another team of DB Cyber division arrested Nasir from Gulshan area around 11pm and Shaheed from Karwan Bazar around 11:30pm, he said.
All of them were wanted in different cases filed with Jatrabari and Kadamtoli police stations.
