Four people, including two former Bangladesh Army personnel, have been detained over their alleged involvement in a robbery at a house in the capital's Mirpur DOHS.

Police said a total of five people, including Iftekhar and Mukul, identifying themselves as law enforcers, conducted a raid at one Borhan's rented flat on Road-11 in Mirpur DOHS around 3pm yesterday.
The four were accompanied by a police source, named Harunur Rashid, from Mirpur Section-10.
During the raid, they looted valuables from the house and left the scene.
Police source Harunur suspected that the incident was a robbery and subsequently chased the car in which the suspects were fleeing.
The car was intercepted at the NDC checkpost of Mirpur DOHS and the four were detained.
They have been handed over to Pallabi police station.
During interrogation, retired corporal Mukul said he became familiar with Harunur Rashid at a tea-stall at Mirpur Section-10. He said the raid was conducted after Harun informed him about the presence of an illegal arm there.
Five mobile phones, diamond and gold jewelleries, a laptop, 3 watches, cosmetics, yaba pills, headphone sets, passports and other documents were seized from their possession.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway, police said.
