2 arrested for alleged gang rape of journalist in Pallabi

Police have arrested two individuals in connection with the gang rape of a journalist in Pallabi, Dhaka.
Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Nazrul Islam of Pallabi Police Station said the woman filed a complaint this evening alleging that she had been gang-raped.
"The police immediately took action and arrested two accused," the OC said, adding that further details would be provided later.

OC Nazrul said after filing the case, the victim was sent to the One-Stop Crisis Centre at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
