Tk59,000cr Rooppur corruption: Hasina, Joy, Rehana, Putul, Tulip among 7 banned from leaving Bangladesh!
It is to be noted that all the individuals named have already left the country

A Dhaka court today (11 March) ordered a travel ban on Sheikh Hasina and her family members centring allegations of embezzlement in the name of construction of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP).
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) had filed a petition seeking the ban.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib issued the order in response to the ACC's application.
Others who were banned are Hasina's son Sajib Ahmed Wazed Joy, daughter Saima Wazed Putul, younger sister Sheikh Rehana, Rehana's son Radwan Mujib Siddique, and daughters Tulip Siddique and Azmina Siddique.
The petition states that an allegation of embezzlement of about Tk59,000 crore in the name of the construction of RNPP is under investigation by the ACC.
A five-member investigation team was formed to investigate the allegation and submit a report.
During the investigation, it was learned through reliable sources that the individuals involved in the allegations were trying to secretly leave the country with their families, the ACC said.
If they leave the country and flee abroad, it will create disruption in obtaining important records related to the allegations, the ACC added.
"Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to ban them from travelling abroad in the interest of a fair investigation of the allegations brought against the following individuals related to the allegations."
It is to be noted that all the individuals named have already left the country.
