A Narayanganj court has granted a 12-day remand for former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, allowing four days of interrogation for each of the three cases filed against him.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Belayet Hossain of Narayanganj granted the remand today (25 February) morning after police sought a seven-day remand for each case.

Earlier, police produced Palak before the court in connection with three murder and explosives cases filed over an attack on anti-discrimination student protesters in Narayanganj's Sadar Model and Siddhirganj police stations. Following the hearing, the court approved a four-day remand for each case, totalling 12 days.
