High Court to increase virtual benches
It was decided that all the judges would be given the responsibility of running the court by rotation

The Supreme Court has decided to conduct court proceedings forming a virtual division bench of the High Court from next week along with increasing the number of benches.
The decision was taken at a full court virtual meeting, led by Chief Justice, today with the participation of all judges from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Multiple sources in the Supreme Court confirmed the matter.
The meeting decided to continue operating the virtual court considering the coronavirus situation. At the same time, it was decided that all the judges would be given the responsibility of running court by rotation.
The meeting decided to increase the number of benches in the High Court if they get required logistical support.
However, the judges of the Supreme Court could not agree on the reopening of the regular justice system in the country.
As of now, there are 15 single virtual benches of the High Court and a virtual chamber court of the Appellate Division.
