Court freezes 68 bank accounts of ex-MP Henry
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)

A Dhaka court today (24 February) ordered a freeze on 68 bank accounts with Tk20.62 crore of former Sirajganj-2 lawmaker Jannat Ara Henry over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Assistant director Asif Al Mahmud of the ACC filed the plea before the court.
The ACC on December 22, 2024, filed two cases against Henry and her husband Shamim Talukder. She was shown arrested in the case on January 6 and was sent to jail.
