Court freezes 45 bank accounts, attaches 4 flats of Nasrul
The court also ordered the seizure of three Land Cruiser SUVs of the former state minister

A Dhaka court today (20 April) ordered to freeze 45 bank accounts and attach four flats of former state minister for power, energy, and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid over corruption allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, granting a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The court also ordered the seizure of three Land Cruiser SUVs of the former state minister.
The anti-graft body in its plea said it has received information that Nasrul has amassed huge illegal wealth and he may try to sell, hand over or transfer the movable and immovable properties to hamper the ongoing investigation against him.
"So for the sake of proper investigation, those properties should be frozen or attached," it added.
