2 filling stations fined for overcharging customers in Ctg’s Rangunia

A mobile court in Chattogram's Rangunia upazila fined two petrol pumps last night (13 March) for selling fuel at prices higher than the rates fixed by the government.
The drive was led by Executive Magistrate Devabrata Das, also the Upazila assistant commissioner (land), in the Ranirhat area.
During the drive, Ranirhat Filling Station was fined Tk10,000 for overcharging customers and failing to maintain a mandatory purchase and sales register.

Md Arman Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rangunia Model Police Station, was present during the drive to provide law enforcement support.
